Liv + Gordon

RED LODGE, MONTANA

Whether you're a seasoned cowgirl or an urbanite with a country heart, you'll love this October wedding in the country. Liv and Gordon were married at Montana Wildflower Weddings near Red Lodge, Montana. Their wedding aesthetic was a nice mix of shabby-chic and floral boho set in beautiful rustic surroundings. If you're planning your dream wedding, check out this post to see why Montana Wildflower Weddings is featured in Rocky Mountain Bride, your go-to guide for the best wedding venues.

It was a crisp fall day. I arrived on the scene and found Liv getting ready with her bridesmaids and her mom lovingly at her side. Her lovely tresses, done in a side-swept braid, perfectly highlighted her exposed shoulders and the open back of her wedding dress. She pulled on her floral motif wedding boots and walked across the manicured lawn for a heartfelt first look with her dad.

Next, it was Gordon's turn. As seen below, the look on his face when he first laid eyes on his stunning bride-to-be was priceless. With everyone dressed and ready, I took pictures of the wedding party just moments before the ceremony began. The sun shined brightly as the guests took their seats, and Gordan walked arm-in-arm with his mother to the wedding altar.

Liv's bridesmaids wore crimson-colored bridesmaid dresses just right for this fall wedding. Gordon and his groomsmen wore Grey blazers with jeans, cowboy boots, and grey cowboy hats to top off their look. Liv and Gordon were married amidst the natural beauty of Montana Wildflower Wedding's lush green meadow. There were vibrant flower gardens in the distance and panoramic views of the Beartooth Mountains. To conclude their wedding, Liv and Gordon had a wood branding ceremony and branded their last name and wedding date into a commemorative wooden plaque.

Having discussed a shot list with Liv for family formals before the wedding, I got those out of the way quickly and efficiently. Afterward, we made our way to the chic-refurbished barn for post-wedding celebrations. The barn was bright and cheerful, with banquet-style seating. It was a naturally joyful environment with a relaxed and fun vibe.
